- What do I do when sudden death occurs and I need a funeral service?If it happens at home, next-of-kin to make a report at the nearest police station or DBKL (for age 60 and above) to obtain the Burial Permit. For hospitalised patient, the hospital will issue the Burial Permit. For accidental and death due to other causes, special handling required. Please contact an agent for arrangement to collect remains with the Burial Permit and to proceed with funeral service.
- Is funeral service available outside Klang Valley?Funeral service package purchased in Klang Valley is exercised within Klang Valley area. Service required outside Klang Valley is available respectively at Nirvana outstation branch. Please contact an agent for assistance.
- Is there a waiting period for exercise of pre-purchased Nirvana Life Plan package?There is a minimum 30 days period. It will be taken as an as-need/instant case if exercised within 30 days.
- What is an as-need or pre-purchased/pre-need case?As-need case applies to instant purchase and exercise of life plan, product/service at current charges upon death. Pre-need case applies to life plan, product/service purchased and paid for via instalment payment up to 24 to 36 months plan at discounted rate.
